Although I have only had 3 lessons with Caroline so far, she has totally revolutionised the way I approach singing, both from a physical and mental point of view. The techniques she has taught me have enabled me to begin to get rid of my existing bad habits and build some new, positive ones. They have also dispelled some of my misconceptions about how I should sing for auditions and performances. The tools I now have allow me to get to the essence of a song and make confident choices about which vocal styles to apply where and the ability to employ them to create the best emotive performance I can. Her friendly, nurturing teaching style puts you at ease immediately so that you can get right down to the nuts and bolts of singing and feel able to be emotionally vulnerable in order to identify your technical issues and discover the true potential of the material you want to sing. Caroline has done a fabulous job of enabling us to find our inner divas and where there was discord she has brought harmony! She is always patient, responsive and encouraging even when we are convinced that we can’t sing something. She always proves us wrong and teaches us all sorts of techniques that help us improve. Above all else we always have fun and feel better at the end of a session than we did at the beginning.

Caroline makes it not only easy to follow by explaining technique clearly, but she’s also great fun. Much laughter features in our sessions.  There is definitely a physiological reaction to singing, as I find it grounds me and lifts my mood after every session.
